Homestarter Kits for Peachtree-Pine Clients

In the season of giving and compassion, consider donating
Household Starter Kit Items

This holiday season, Central Atlanta Progress is collaborating with Partners for HOME to create household starter kits for those transitioning out of the Peachtree-Pine Shelter and into permanent housing.

Partners for HOME is a nonprofit collaborating with the providers of the Atlanta Homeless Continuum of Care. Clients of 196 Peachtree-Pine shelter have moved into permanent housing. For the most part, they have few belongings, especially kitchen wares or cleaning supplies. A wish list of household items they need to start their homes has been created to aid in that transition.

Household Starter Kit Wish List

In this season of giving and compassion, CAP and Partners for HOME invite the community to purchase entire starter kits or purchase a la carte items from $1 to $50 from the wish list on Amazon.com. Items range from hand soap and dryer sheets to laundry baskets and dishes. For those who wish to donate purchased items in person, items can be dropped off at 818 Pollard Blvd., 3rd floor, Atlanta GA 30315.

Supporting the Peachtree-Pine clients as they transition to permanent housing reaffirms our community’s commitment to making homelessness rare, brief and nonrecurring. We invite you to consider making a donation, in addition to sharing this information with your network. Thank you for your support!
