“Ant Man” is filming at the Norfolk Southern building, 125 Ted Turner Drive. The west curb lane on Ted Turner Dr SW will be closed between Nelson St SW and Peters St SW during the following times:
– Sept 7th, 8th: 12:00am-6:30am, 9am-4pm & 6:30pm-11:59pm
– Sept 9th, 10th: 12:00am- 11:59pm
Centennial Olympic Park is gearing up to host the annual 4th of July Celebration, the largest fireworks show in the Southeast! For more information about this year’s show that will be headlined by JFly and Friends, Bobby Brown, Kristian Bush, Ann Nesby, and CeCe Peniston, visit here. This year, the park has partnered with Lenox Square to combine shows. Due to this, expect larger crowds than in previous years. During set up, host and break down the following roads will be closed:
Park Avenue West : Between Marietta Street and Baker Street
– July 2nd,3rd: Lane closest to park closed; street is one way traffic
– July 4th: Road closed; resident/businesses allowed with dash pass
– July 5th: Lane closest to park closed; street is one way traffic
Baker Street : Between Park Avenue West and Centennial Olympic Park Drive
– July 2nd, 3rd: Eastbound lanes closed including sidewalk closest to the Park
– July 4th: Entire road closed
– July 5th: Eastbound lanes closed including sidewalk closest to the Park
Centennial Olympic Park Drive: Between Baker Street and Marietta Street
– July 4th, 3pm-10pm: western lane closest to park closed

Come to No Mas Cantina in Castleberry Hill on this Sunday for breakfast, lunch or dinner to raise money for DOC B CARES’ summer bus trip to the Underground Railroad Freedom Center in Ripley, OH in mid July. DOC B CARES is a local non profit that provides a vital after school program to at-risk youth in the Southwest Atlanta area. They still need to raise $3,000 to hit the goal of bringing 75 youth on the trip. No Mas is supporting their fundraising goal by offering to contribute 20% back to the cause, for meals purchased on Sunday June 25th.
