Barbara Squires to be Honored
Castleberry Hill resident and business owner Barbara Squires will be
honored November 15, 2003 at the American Association of Oriental Medicine's
2003 International Conference in Orlando. Barbara was selected from among
the tens of thousands of acupuncturists in the US to receive the "Acupuncturist
of the Year" award from the National organization.
The conference, which is being held at the famed Coronado Springs Resort is slated to be the biggest and best one yet and with the award going to Barbara they're bound to be right. The award is being given for her dedication to her patients, her work in changing the laws in Georgia by making it a legal and a licensed profession, and for all her work in promoting and ensuring high standards in the field of Oriental Medicine.
Barbara's practice, Squires Oriental Medical Arts [SOMA] at 310 Peters St. (404-524-6541) provides treatment for neurological & muscular disorders, women's health, allergies & respiratory disorders, digestive disorders, fertility, tension/stress relief, and addiction. She is National Board Certified and a Licensed Acupuncturist.
