cop4thOn Monday, July 4, Centennial Olympic Park will host the annual 4th of July Celebration. Gates will open at 6pm, with fireworks scheduled to go off around 9:45pm. The evening’s entertainment will include performances by J-Fly and Friends, with Montell Jordan headlining the event. WSB-TV will rebroadcast the event on Channel 2 at 10pm.

With the increased number of downtown visitors, there may be congestion around the GWCCA Campus. Here are some conditions to anticipate as you make your way to work or home.

There will also be public access closures inside the park July 2-5.  For the dog owners, they opened a station on Park Avenue West closer to the Belvedere entrance. When there are North Park closures, dog owners may use that for their dogs.  There are dog bags provided inside the gate.
