No Mas! Hacienda Exhibits Ameyaltepec Guerrero Folk Art Figures This small village, located in the state of Guerrero, Mexico, is home to some of the most talented folk artisans. Paisa and her brother carry on the generations long tradition of their family, making clay folk art figures, in their community of just 951 people. A very limited production; No Mas! was very fortunate to bring back this exhibit for your enjoyment. Be sure to also peruse the No Mas! gallery showroom collection of artistic creations from over 300 artisans in Mexico – and dinner, drinks, coffees, desserts – all under one roof. The Steve McCurry permanent exhibit remains on display in the Besharat Gallery. The Besharat Contemporary and Abstract showcase an incredible collection of paintings and sculptures from local and international artists. Outside of the Galleries, the gorgeous Sculpture Garden graces the lawn. From October 17th through December 20th, the Besharat Gallery will host an exhibition in association with La Fondation Taylor for France-Atlanta, a two-week celebration of French Art in Atlanta. The show features fifteen artists: Nebojsa Bezanic, Anne-Marie Debelfort, Drago Dedic, Jean Duranel, Michéle Lellouche, Christian Mourey, Moreno Pincas, Anne Pourny, Jacques Rohaut, Robert Verluca, Abraham Hadad, Gérard Alary, François Legrand, Jean-François Larrieu, and Mauro Corda. No Mas! Hacienda will feature Mexican Artist Antonio “Shaman” Salas Villavazo at the 2nd Friday Castleberry Hill Art Stroll on July 11th, 2014. “The favorite” – local artist (Tribune) Born in Michoacán, Mexico in 1966. Studied ten years for priesthood in the Mayor Seminary of Autlán Jalisco, México, where he finished his studies in Philosophy and Theology.
After leaving the Seminary, he relocated to Puerto Vallarta to continue his studies in Univa University, where he finish his Masters in Education, History and Geography of Jalisco.
He is a self-taught artist. His media include: drawings, watercolors, oils and most recently, acrylics. His art work reflects his indigenous heritage. Currently he enjoys showing his work on the malecón in Puerto Vallarta when we discovered him. Be sure to also peruse the No Mas! gallery showroom collection of artistic creations from over 300 artisans in Mexico – and dinner, drinks, coffees, desserts – all under one roof.

Parking is available throughout neighborhood (please make sure not to block driveways, hydrants or where “No Parking” signs are posted.  Castleberry Point’s parking deck and the lot across from 161 Mangum offer free parking during the Strolls. There are also lots available at the corner of Trinity & Spring, and on the West side of Peters Street Bridge.
