Castleberry Hill Neighborhood Association Hosts National Night Out 2008
On Tuesday, August 5, 2008, the Castleberry Hill Neighborhood Association (CHNA) will host its Annual National Night Out from 7:00 - 10:00 pm at Studio 281, 281 Peters St., Atlanta, GA 30313. National Night Out, held in conjunction with the Public Safety and Neighborhood Relations Committees, was created to instill a sense of neighborhood camaraderie and strengthen the partnership bond between the community, residents, businesses and the police department. National Night Out events, such as this help send the message that we care about our neighborhood and are watching! National Night Out, a year-long community building campaign, is designed to: (1) heighten crime prevention awareness; (2) generate support for, and participation in, local anticrime programs; (3) strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships; and (4) send a message to criminals letting them know that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back. Members of the Atlanta Police Department, City Council and others will be joining us as well as neighbors from the Marietta Street Artery Association (MSAA) and Atlanta Downtown Neighborhood Association (ADNA)! We will have crime prevention materials and tips and will be helping spread the word on what the CHNA and APD are doing to help Castleberry Hill be crime free! Please come help send a message to criminals that Castleberry Hill is an organized group that is prepared to fight back to keep their neighborhood free of crime! Tell your neighbors, tell your friends and come join us for America’s Night Out Against Crime - National Night Out 2008!
