Urban dwellers with a big love of gardening but limited space for planting now have a store to call their own. "Garden" specializes in small plants, bonsai trees, light weight planters and other accouterments of in-town gardening. Owned and operated by John Smith and Ron Brady, "Garden" also features fresh cut flowers and unique gifts such as vases, candles, cards, garden gift sets and fine art with a botanical slant."We came up with the concept for the shop based on the fact that Southerners love to garden, but more and more of us are choosing to live in urban environments," Ron Brady explains.

"Garden" is the first botanical store in downtown Atlanta to cater specifically to those living in lofts. townhomes, rowhouses and condos with small space gardens such as roof top decks, container gardens and interior gardens.

The small shop is located at 227 Peters Street in Downtown Atlanta's Castleberry Hill historic loft district, on the street level of the proprietors' own rowhouse.
