Atlanta’s Shaky Knees Music Fest will be back for its fourth edition in 2016, taking place May 13-15. This year the fest moves from Central Park to Centennial Olympic Park. Shaky Knees Music Festival consists of 75 bands on 5 stages; 3 stages will be located in Centennial Olympic Park and 2 more stages will be found on International Plaza. Expected attendance is between 25000-30000 and the entire park will be closed from Wednesday May 11th through Monday May 16th.
**Traffic Alert/ Road Closures**
Friday May 13th @ 12:01am to Sunday May 16 @ 11:59pm: Marietta St. – Between COP Dr and Ivan Allen Blvd. Open to local hotel traffic, taxis and buses. Detours directed down COP to Chapel/Mangum/Mitchell.
The Shaky Beats festival is scheduled for May 20-22 in Centennial Olympic Park also. Because these events occur on back-to-back weekends, the entire park will be closed for public access from May 12 through May 24 (ticket required for entry May 13-15 and May 20-22).
